Hi, I’m Debra Thomas!

I can help you, by mentoring and guiding you, as you embrace the lifestyle changes you are seeking. My own journey to finding a healthy lifestyle has given me insight into the many challenges one encounters.

This enables me to bring a high level of empathy, respect, and understanding in your journey to wellness.

I practice a holistic approach to health and wellness, which means that I look at how all areas of your life are connected.

Does stress at your job or in your relationship cause you to overeat?
Does lack of sleep or low energy prevent you from exercising?

As we work together, we will look at how all parts of your life affect your health as a whole.

You’ll develop a deeper understanding of food and lifestyle choices that work best for you, improving your energy, balance, health, & happiness.

Integrative Nutrition Plate ®

The Integrative Nutrition Plate emphasizes the importance of local and organic produce, whole grains, high-quality proteins, plant-based fats, and water. It shows you how a plate should appear at mealtime and emphasizes the importance of proportions and portion size.

To complete the picture, the plate is surrounded with lifestyle factors that create optimal health: relationship, career, physical activity and spirituality. I’ll introduce you to some of the healthiest foods on the planet and teach you how to find what’s healthiest for your unique body!

Primary Food™

It’s easy to overlook all of the things that contribute to our sense of nourishment and fulfillment. It’s not just the food we eat that affects our health, but all of the other factors present in our daily lives. Healthy relationships, a fulfilling career, regular physical activity, and a spiritual awareness are essential forms of nourishment. When these “primary foods” are balanced, what you eat becomes secondary. I will support you in achieving all of your goals, from eating the right foods for your body to living an inspired, fulfilling life.

The concept of bio-individuality is the idea that each of us has unique food and lifestyle needs.
One person’s food is another person’s poison, and that’s why fad diets tend to fail in the long run.

Working on the principle of bio-individuality, I’ll support you to make positive changes
that are based on your unique needs, lifestyle, preferences, and ancestral background.

Many nutrition experts give their clients a list of foods to avoid and foods to eat, which explains why so many people are turned off by nutrition. My approach is different – by eating and drinking foods that are good for you, you will naturally have less room and desire for unhealthy foods. Simply put, you will “crowd out” the unhealthy food in your diet. This takes a little practice to make happen, but I will support you all the way.
Cravings play a critical role in understanding what your body needs and shouldn’t be ignored. When you learn how to deconstruct your cravings and understand what they’re really telling you, you will be able to reclaim a sense of balance and harmony.

What clients are  saying

Coach Deb, is helping change my life. I have been receiving life coaching from her for over a year now, in online groups and one on one coaching.

She has helped me to see the value in taking control of my health. I am a wife, mother, grandmother, early childhood educator and have been a caregiver. So often the days, months and years revolve around meeting the needs of others first. This has come at a cost for me. Years of stress, eating on the go and feeling like I needed to “fix” everything for everyone has taken it’s toll.

Even though I spent hours at the doctor each week, I did not take care of my own medical needs. Knowing I had gallstones I waited nine months before having my gall bladder removed. It was so bad the doctor said I was lucky it had not burst. However there was an impact on my pancreas, liver and stomach from neglecting the problem. In addition lab test and scans showed that my Thyroid was not functioning right, I was facing treatment by an Endocrinologist with lifelong medication. I asked my Doctor to give me six months to get it back within normal levels.

With the help of Coach Deb, I started looking at my food and lifestyle choices. One of the best things I learned is to pay attention to the way I felt after I ate. Learning to read labels has surprised me! I now look for Non GMO when I shop. Coach Deb has helped me to take charge of my health. I eat when I’m hungry and have learned to eat cleaner. This year my garden was started with organic soil and seeds. I feel good that I am taking care of myself. My pancreas, liver and stomach are recovering well and I am free of prescription medication for them. I began using doTerra essential oils, reducing my stress, exercising, along with dietary changes. At my six month follow up my labs came back with my Thyroid back in normal range! My choices to take care of myself are paying off.

Coach Deb is a supportive, well studied, and understanding coach. She presents the information and encourages sustainable, lasting changes on your wellness journey. I love her knowledge on primary foods, presenting the importance of the spiritual side of wellness.

She has helped me to focus on making small changes at first, to concentrate on what I am doing well, and to let go and move on when I revisit old habits.

I look forward to an opportunity to talk with you and determine
how I can best support you in achieving your goals.
