What does a holistic health coach do?

As a holistic health coach, I will look at and approach every aspect of your life – the body, spirit, and mind to determine what is causing your health concern, knowing that we are all biologically different, and no one way works the same for everyone. We will work together looking for the root causes and develop a customized plan that will take your individual physical, emotional and lifestyle factors into account that will fit into your way of life, helping you achieve your goals in a positive and permanent change.

What does a life coach do?

A health coach will help you to choose mindfully and make healthy choices in nutrition, physical activity, sleep and manage and improve your quality of life through healthy habits and effective changes. A life coach approaches every aspect of your life, and is uses functional/holistic practices.

Why online coaching? Does it really work?

In the past, coaching was done in person, one on one or a group in a fixed site. Because of the technology advancements, we can now reach people, still face to face, with online coaching, by phone, video conference, email, texting and certain apps like Facebook and Messenger. The time zone barriers are gone, more flexible appointment slots are available and more instant replies to questions.

More and more doctor’s offices are also turning to “virtual” office visits, allowing you a more versatile appointment time fitting your busy schedule when it is more convenient for you. With our busy lives, (which I will teach you how to slow down ☺ ), we get to choose the time that works for us, and allows you to spend more time with your family.

What happens when the program is finished?

There will be an opportunity to sign up for a continuation coaching course either in a new group or one on one coaching. This course will help you with what skills you have learned in the six month course, giving you more confidence in your mindful choices.

There will also be a “Reboot” course for those who went through our health coaching course, and strayed a little and wants to get back on track.
